BMW R-69/S from 1964. It has good general condition. Working properly.
From 1955, BMW stopped the production of new models, and introduced only essential improvements: a radical change of the suspension is presented as the ultimate novelty, also a new box with Earles front fork and rear swing arms between others. These modifications plus some other aesthetic changes served to differentiate the machines of previous models. So the BMW R-69 would become BMW R-69/S, the first production motorcycle that equipped a hydraulic steering damper.
The R69 / S was the last bike of the old style, (considered by the ultraconservative brand as the last genuine BMW), the “S” for sport, was the “top model” series, now a very popular model among collectors.
