DKW NZ 500 year 1941; Restored motorcycle. It works properly.
It has replaced the original dynamo and original ignition for a electronic new ignition system.
The model that concerns us here, came on the market as part of the NZ generation, successor to the successful SB series, proclaiming comfort, lightness and agility.
It is a twin cylinder of engine like the 350, but a power of 18.5 PS, double primary chain, gearbox 4 speed built into the block, the front fork is equipped with an oil shock, and the rear axle adjustable springs.
The NZ 500 had a short run, because in September 1939 at the start of the war, 1,500 of the 4,600 units produced until 1941 went to Madrid Police. A large number of other machines, were officially commissioned. From the summer of 1940 gave the finished production.
