The first Scout, presented in 1920, were an immediate success.
A motorcycle with stable robust tube chassis, double cradle and capable of carrying sidecar. The Scout had no cushioning in the back wheel, but had at least one front fork damping reinforced crossbow. Was the primary transmission gear, the shift lever was on the right tank and the multi-plate clutch in oil bath was operated pedal.
Over the years several generations occurred in the engine.
